These days, a smartphone is more of a pocket-sized computer than a telephone. While making phone calls over a wireless network is still a primary use for these devices, they can do so much more. That also means that shopping for a capable smartphone device takes a lot more tech-savviness today than it used to. Here is a quick guide to the specs you should be looking for.

Performance

Similar to a desktop computer, performance is important in these pocket-sized devices. The processor and RAM components will give the best indication of potential performance. A good processor will allow your device to function seamlessly with no lag in booting up or running apps. And a sufficient amount of random access memory (RAM) will make sure that your device can run multiple background apps simultaneously for the best user experience.

The phone is designed to run Harmony OS and has redesigned the camera to include an extra-large sensor for great photos and a distinctive housing.

OnePlus Nord 2

The new model from OnePlus looks strikingly similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro. But it will feature an upgraded 90 Hz AMOLED screen and a slightly larger screen size of 6.55 inches.

The brand has been tight-lipped about its plans for the next iteration of the Xiaomi Mi Note. The previous version which was released in 2019 quickly became a fan-favorite mid-range phone. We expect another great release with the Xiaomi Mi Note 11, we just have to be patient enough to wait for it.
